..BOY!! Yesterday I had my 19 week ultrasound and found out our little one is a boy. All three of us (Aaron, Niko and I) were pretty sure it was a little girl – one can dream of pretty pink dresses, right? But we couldn’t be happier to find out our sweet boy is healthy and growing growing growing. It was so special for Niko to see his little brother – even through the screen. It melts my heart thinking of the two of them together – growing and being so close to each other. Family and especially siblings are a beautiful thing! A good friend once told me the best gift you can give your child is a sibling. So true!! I treasure what I have with my sisters and I am so happy to know Niko will have the same with his little brother.
Thanks for all your well wishes! I am looking forward to decorating (or shall I say re-decorating) the nursery. The boys will be sharing a room which means a lot of planning for making the perfect space for them both. I plan on sharing pictures of the before and after, so stay tuned.

As a mother of 3 boys I can say there is something so special and amazing to watch the bond of brothers grow, They, you all are so very blessed. Congrats!
Thanks Karen! My husband has 2 brothers so he knows well the bonding that comes from that. Looking forward to seeing our boys develop that!

When I was pregnant with my second I thought for sure that I was having another boy (we didn’t want to know beforehand) so I was surprised (but still very happy of course) that she turned out to be a girl. It’s weird how one can be so sure about something and then end up being surprised in the end. And funny too, since all three of you thought the same thing. We’ll your little boy might have some more suprises in store for you… one look when he’s born and he’ll have you all wrapped around his little finger…
