My Parents’ Visit

Tomorrow I will be picking up my parents at the airport. It’s been 9 months since I saw them last. I miss them! They will be spending 2 1/2 weeks with us. I can’t wait!

This morning we had a tornado warning in Chicago! A tornado!! I was contemplating keeping Nikolas home from school. So I told him he might have to skip school today. His answer? “Umm, if I miss school today, I won’t be given the movie ticket at the end of the school year – so I think I’ll go!” I had to laugh! Hard! This little dude isn’t going to miss a day of school if it means a reward at the end. That’s my boy!!
